Thompson seatpost and FSA ceramic headset arrives!

The bike build begins! I am starting with taking the Marzocchi 888 off the Bullit and mounting it to the Shocker. I splurged and went with the FSA ceramic headset. Check out the pictures below to see the progress.

The Bullit in its original form...

The new frame!

Down but not out... This guy is getting an overhaul too!

This bike build has been a challenge. I received the wrong crank set from PricePoint. Ordered the incorrect chain guide from another store. Had to wait for a wheel set that was on back order and deal with some pretty painful people from AirBomb.com. Most of the craziness is over now and I have quite a few new parts to put on the bike. Here is some of the stuff worth mentioning...

Gamut Chain Guide and bash guard was added

A cleaner pic of the chain guide

A SRAM X.0 short cage derailleur

Avid Elixir CR Brakes

I got a little fancy with the cable tie downs. Note the Flack Jacket derailleur cable housing

The revolution will not be televised.

Mike Rigoli suffers from classic narcissism.

Grrrrrr.

American Classic downhill wheelset with the 150mm rear hub. Check out the red spoke pointing to the valve.

Dura-Ace cogset from my old road bike.

All Done!
